Manchester United ended their 2015-16
season on a high after winning the FA Cup 2016 beating Crystal palace
2-1 at Wembley. Louis Van Gaal was sacked a day later and Jose Mourinho
has been appointmented as Manchester United manager. United will start
their 2016-17 season with a pre-season tour of Asia as part of
International Champions Cup where they will be playing Manchester City
and Borussia Dortmund in China. Unlike the previous season’s this year
pre-season tour is rather short with only two matches scheduled in China
and United will return home for a training camp before they play
community shield match against Leicester City on Sunday, 07 August 2016.
Jose Mourinho has a big task on his hand
to improve United’s position in the league. Manchester United has failed
to qualify for Champions League in 2 of three seasons since Sir Alex
Ferguson retired. minimum requirement for Jose Mourinho is to qualify
for champions league next season and do well in the cup competitions.
